Doesn't even deserve one star, their customer service is HORRIBLE. My husband and I bought my grandparents place and are currently updating it and the most important was the flooring because theirs was 40 years old and gross. We went to National Carpet Mill and worked with Andrew and while picking out the flooring he had no real answers for us, didn't tell us about what we were looking at, didn't give us any information or anything. Just basically said here is the carpet and here is the engineered hardwood and left us to make our own decision knowing nothing about it. We hesitantly chose the flooring and got an "estimated" cost from him and scheduled a measure. The guy came out to measure our home and mentioned since we were doing hardwood that there would be some prep that needed done, understandable. I called Andrew and was told by their receptionist that he was with a customer and would call me back. I waited over 3 hours for a call back, nothing. so I called again and was able to speak with him (he was very hard to get on the phone every time I called). He told me that another guy had to come out to look at the floor to give an accurate estimate for floor prep, said he would email him and have him call me to schedule it, and was rushing me off the phone. After waiting and calling Andrew back to have the guy call me, he sent him another email. An entire day later the installation guy finally called and asked me to tear up the carpet so he could see what hes dealing with. I thought I was paying them for tear up and removal but whatever, we tore up the carpet ourselves. He came out, looked at it, and told us the floor was in pretty good shape and that the prep work wouldn't be any major project are cost very much. After asking Andrew to please get me some sort of quote because I wanted to come soon to pay and get scheduled for install, he sent me a quote for $2,000 MORE than what our "estimate" was.....I get it was an "estimate" and he was doing the math in his head but COME ON, I have a budget and was told the prep wouldn't be much. Not to mention, he had the incorrect hardwood we chose on the quote and their was inconsistencies compared to what we had discussed. Additionally, he told me that he would call when he got in first thing Thursday morning. And he never called.

Needless to say, I have found a much better deal and will be shopping local in my hometown and not dealing with National Carpet Mill Outlet anymore or ever again. They rush you off the phone, give you minimal information, give you false promises, and do not care about the customer and responding in a timely fashion. I don't have the time to waste and do not...

Spent thousands of dollars with this company just to end up with a terrible carpet install. Laura, the manager, was extremely rude on the phone hanging up on me because I didn't feel comfortable giving my credit card number over the phone. When I went in to settle the account and let her know I did not appreciate the fact that she hung up on me, she proceeded to call me a liar. She didn't say that I must be mistaken, no. She repeatedly called me a liar while becoming increasingly aggressive in tone. As I turned around and walked away she had the audacity to "pfft" me. I then brought that up and she claimed that she didn't... Looks like we know who the liar is. I asked for the owners number and she said "Here, call, Steve. He's the manager." while throwing a business card out of her office window. I picked it up and let Laura know that she was the sole reason I would not be back. I called Steven,and left a message on his voicemail. The store called me back and hung up. I immediately called back but Steve was unavailable. Again left my name and number. It's been days and now no one has reached out. This company is terrible. I see why the agent I was working with left the company. Let me save you thousands of dollars and the verbal assault. Go somewhere else. I leave for you a small sample of the terrible seam lines and the mess that was left. Update. 1 month later and management refuses to...

I purchased 2 cases of beautiful wood lament boards, a bucket of glue and a bucket of grout...all for about $290.00 to remodel my small bathroom floor. I went back in there a few days later, because I came up "one board" short to finish up a spot under my vanity that was still visible. I went in and spoke to the salesman who proceeded to tell me he couldn't sell me just one board, but I had to buy a whole box again...though there were 2 or 3 loose boards laying right on top on the cases. I could not believe this after spending that much in there for such a small bathroom; this company could not even give me (or let me purchase) one more board to complete my bathroom floor. This is not the type of company I want to associate myself with. I had other projects that I was going to have them do for me in the upcoming months too. A company should pride themselves on customer service, not trying to pull more money out of the customers' pockets. In the end, they lost thousands of dollars from me...over...
