We were super excited getting a DQ with the fryer menu and seating. We’ve made two visits. In March, it was honestly very dirty and the food wasn’t up to par with other DQ’s. We figured they might be having an off day and still getting used to everything. Tried again today 5 months later, and it was much cleaner. However, we had to go back to ask for a missing cup (2combos), one of our items was missing when the food came, but politely brought to us when we showed the receipt. The fries were cold and limp, and the onion rings were dark and had that sharp burnt oil taste. Every ketchup packet was slimy and we had to clean them off, and our cheesecake blizzard contained 1 single bite of cheesecake in it - the rest was just vanilla ice cream with flakes of chocolate in it. It was about 3pm, and not a rush hour. One or two of these things in themselves isn’t a big deal, and I wouldn’t write a review about them. But experienced all in one visit, it just isn’t worth it when the cost of eating out is just so high. We don’t eat out often and we have to make choices where to spend it based on...
Read moreWent on March 14th. It was busy and line was long but we were happy to wait... until we got to the front of the line inside and they told us they were pausing taking orders. The continued to focus solely on the drive through, while the line in the lobby piled up for nearly 20 minutes. At one point, the woman in the back who seemed to be in charge hollered to her staff "We are in third place!" which felt a bit odd to celebrate loudly while you are ignoring your lobby full of customers. Someone called, and she told them on the phone that it would be faster to doordash then to come in, which was also discouraging for everyone in person watching printed tickets go up one after another while our orders werent placed, and we werent acknowledged for 15+ minutes. We ended up giving up, and as we turned to leave, the woman yelled at the lobby that they were "only taking 5 lobby orders at a time". They were slammed but looked pretty staffed back there. I understand being busy but I don't understand prioritizing everyone except the people standing at...
Read moreWooster must be saying “FINALLY!”. I know I have! This DQ upgrade has been long overdue but it’s here! Got some time to grab a chocolate milkshake and here are some thoughts on my experience in the new building.
The space is beautifully renovated! Plenty of seats and it seems like they’ll always be busy! Summer or winter!
The young man who took my order was brilliant! Service with a smile which I appreciated! Didn’t get his name but well done! He kept it up too!
The wait was a bit, but I have no complaints. If you do, then give them time and patience! They’re young but they’re trying and want to make sure you’re taken care of. The number system worked perfectly for this town and crowd. I’d rather wait for a good product than have a product rushed and be bad! Will have to try their food next time!
Extra parking was crucial and even when it’s packed, there’d still spots thankfully!
Overall, for the brief period I was there when getting a simple milkshake, i was pleased with the updated...
