I've never heard of the place and I'm 51 years old and have lived here all my life. My buddy on the other hand knew exactly how to get there because he golfs there once a week. The price was a lil steep at $25 for a cover band I thought, but we decided to check it out. I gathered my girl and two of my good buddies and we traveled 30 min into the hill towns to see Vintage Skynyrd, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. We arrived at the top of a hill and the temperature was about 15 degrees cooler than it was down in the valley. We parked and walked towards the clubhouse where the band was set up. The area is beautiful with all the grass meticulously maintained on the course and the band played right in front of the clubhouse on kind of a lil hill. BYOB no hard alcohol, they were serving mixed drinks and an assortment of beers, I don't know the cost of drinks as we brought our own. Parking was free and we brought a blanket and lawn chairs, you can just set up in the grass wherever you want. We all had an absolutely great time! It's the perfect place to see a concert. Small venue, friendly atmosphere, and the band was incredible. Vintage Skynyrd ROCKED the clubhouse down!! What a great band. I'll tell you what, if you happen to see there's a band you like playing up The Links, I suggest you buy tickets immediately. I guarantee you will have a good time. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I still think $25 cover charge for a cover band is a lil steep. Regardless, I will definitely be going back for some more live music! Hope...

Now, the course…immaculate. I mean its not Pebble Beach but having actually visited PB the Links jump out. Perfectly manicured greens, tree lined fairways in the clouds.
The Links are New England. If you enjoy golf with a side of outstanding ambiance then you need...
