Invited to accompany a friend / collector of fine watches to visit his jewelry store for a repair. Presumed we would be headed to Madison, Flowood, or downtown Jackson, but not so. My friend, a FEMA grant writer who has lived from CA to CO to FLA to LA & other, took me to Yazoo City downtown to Andersons. Stepping inside, I was in a time warp . GORGEOUS old original showroom but more incredible, family owned since 1800’s! As I looked at the beautiful displays, I listened as the family interacted with customers. Their knowledge in ALL THINGS fine jewelry was captivating as they explained details to a customer about HER OWN pieces and my friend -his watch- as a “teacher” . I’m a nurse (45 years) and our finest doctors are not just skilled / they too are also “teachers”. I felt like these men had “absorbed” 150 years of experience from their ancestors!...

I came in to have a white gold bracelet repaired, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I spoke to Bentley Anderson, he gave a quote upfront with a worst case scenario. Repair prices were reasonable and the expertise is priceless, I also had the some ends built up since Bentley noted they were thin and had the bracelet polished. I had to return to get my wedding band polished so it would match my new looking bracelet. Bentley was very professional and honest..I never felt he was being pushy. I asked to see a necklace and he gave me an amazing deal that I couldn’t pass up. I will return for any purchases or repairs in the future.
