This is my story: Today was an amazing day. It did not start that way, as it was day 4 of our missing pup. We got up got all of our stuff together and started out the door. We had flyers and tape in hand and determination in our hearts. We started in Rainier, Wa at Rainier Espresso those gals were so nice. (we will be stopping in for coffee soon) Then over to the gas station where I met this bunch of old timers hanging out telling stories.(all that was missing was the potbelly stove and the corn pipes) Then we headed over to the gas station out by Lawrence Lake. That is where the faith came in. I met this quirky guy from Australia. As I moved on to the next guy that had gathered, I realized it was one of the cool kids from my high school years.(That moment you realize your the same, the hug). Then as we turned to go to the car a lady and her daughter came up to us. She asked if she could take a flyer to the church that they were on their way too, we of course said yes. Then it happened she asked if she could pray for us. So in the middle of the station we circled the five of us(Kurtis was hold Katy) and she prayed for god to bring Cooper home. We Thanked her and moved to a few more places on the way into town. I had a plan of the most important places to go in Yelm. The number one for the volume of people has to be Stewart's Meats. They let us put up three flyers and were so willing to help. it was amazing. (I have always recommend them for their meats now it will be for their hearts). Then it happened again when we stopped at Jenny's Barnhouse in McKenna. She not only posted the flyer, she grabbed her phone and started posting his pic on her Facebook pages immediately.( Unbelievable Heart). Then Boom she called me tonight to see if we had found him. (Kurtis had called her restaurant to have them pull the flyer but she was gone by then.) HEART--We will be dinning there in the near future. Then a few more stops and we were at Pet House Groomer where we met this very nice young lady that was so offering and wanting to help us. she was planing an attack in her area with flyers. If I need a groomer we will make that drive to get it done. Then into town and we stopped at the three vet offices and they were all very nice. We ended dropping off flyers, and headed to oly to the humane society. We posted there and we were done. Kurtis took me to work and as I was getting settled in I got this text. It was from my Aunt Mary ( who has been the biggest help to me threw all of these four days) saying her neighbor had seen Cooper, I had to read it three or four times, then I handed my phone to Kurtis to read it. Lets just say it only took him 20 minutes to get to her house (I work in Centraila and she lives in SE Yelm)40 minutes later I got a call that he was on his way to me with Cooper. This day has been the most emotional, spiritual, heart felt day we have ever had. WE...
Read moreWorst product quality not going back…. Ordered a whole pig last min for New years, the guy on the ph said he could make an exception and take our oder but needed to pick up before 5pm on new years ever. We live in Grays Harbor so a family member went to pick it up 3:30-4pm (before 5pm). Kelly called to verify that I had sent someone to picked up our order I confirmed and she said order was READY. Family member had to pull to the back cooker in the back even said “right in time ur pig just finished cooking” not in any moment did he or any gal inside mentioned it was not cooked and not ready to go and needed to wait longer. When we were about to eat dinner we started to cut into pig and it was still very raw blood started oozing out(took pictures and videos) we ended up throwing it away that instant so $450+ down the drain. Called the next business day and complained and asked for a full refund yet the same gentleman answered (owner maybe) and had the audacity to say he could only offer $75 refund when i said whats the best he can do he said $100(with gas being high not even worth the drive) as they were not at fault because the person picking it up was told to wait as the pig was not ready/uncooked never did anyone mention this and No one was in a rush this person still waited in line 10-20mins to get his number called in order to receive service as it was so packed in there with people picking up orders. Everyone seemed to be more worried if it was picked up by someone in my party. This gentleman also said he couldn’t talk for 3rds or 4ths as he was not present at the time of pick up yet he’s confirming and believes what his employees (family members) are telling him of what supposedly happened, for the person picking up the order he noticed they have surveillance so why not pull up the surveillance to see what actually happened in that interaction as thats not what was said. what sucks is that this family member didn’t have anyone else with him to confirm. What ever happen to Customers are always right motto?! Will maybe his company needed our money more...
Read moreMade an online order which I thought would be fine growing up in the Yelm area and being stationed at fort lewis for several years. have been a walk in customer hundreds of times. After my online order I received nothing, no response or automated response an order came through, no contact it had been shipped and no tracking number. I contacted them in writing through their website asking for this information a week later. after a couple days of no response I called them. SPoke with the married couple that runs the place, the man first who said he could see it was sen on the 26th but would have to call me back with more information. His wife called back and is very rude and unapologetic, informing it was sent on the 27th with an arrival of the 31st. She was very rude trying not to give me the tracking number but i took it anyway. the delivery was set for the 30th and had been all along, so they are not on the same page with each other. She than became very short and rude stating they "don't care" or have the "time" to contact people to let them no they received their order, shipped their order or provide tracking numbers. She attempted to play off the mom and pop size of the store which is when I let he know I grew up there and was well aware that wasn't true. They have 10+ employees shuffling around at any point of any day and more during busy times. This is not a small butcher shop by any means. Despite growing up there and going so much I am disappointed at the rudeness and unprofessionalism. I was Shocked when she said very snarkily "well... if somebody wants to know if we got their order, when we ship and want a tracking number they will just have to call in." Probably the only online business today that is this disrespectful, unprofessional and willingly lazy when it comes to...
