Mystery Shack — Local services in Yermo

I took my whole family here for a day of adventure and fun. Plan on bring hiking shoes and arriving early so you have time to visit all they have to offer. I originally went to watch the Civil War reenactment and was very disappointed to find out they are no longer hosting it. I was excited to introduce and share with my kids this pertinent time in our countries history so that they're that much more educated. We ended up watching a short showdown instead. Apparently, some staff members feel this part of history is not important because it did not occur at the actual location. I call that a cheap excuse. I truly hope they bring back the original reenactment so that others are able to learn and appreciate the sacrifices that were made to make the future better than what it was. Whoever it may "offend"...
