Twisters Soda Bar Yorktown — Local services in Yorktown

I went through the drive through with my daughters like I have lots of times before and things have always been amazing in the past. I have told so many of my clients about you guys and my girls love coming on their therapy days it helps make it a bad day better for us all. Things started great as always and the girls items both came out perfect and the girl at the window was super sweet, but mine that I added cold foam to had about an inch gap at the top I asked to have just topped off even just with foam would have been fine since they are quite pricey. After a wait I was informed that the 44 oz drinks are never filled to the top? Which my daughter also had and was full and usually does get and has always been full we have always just been told to just drink some so they do explode. But I just kept being told with the 44 they cant be full but the 32 oz can, or they will explode . Both of my girls had foam one at 32 and one at 44 and both were full drinks so I said I was confused and the person telling me this said they don’t know that’s just how it works some times people make things different but thats how it works. I ended ip just leaving and had no plan to complain or leave a review but then by the time I got home with out even taking a drink the foam had settled some and the drink was only about half full the ice level was just below that. We have never encountered this and I really hope this isn’t a new policy or way its being done since I had less in my cup than the 32 oz but paid more and...

*Update! My new favorite drink is the seasonal Sun Shower (Lemonade, strawberry, guava, peach puree, & peach cold form) picture included. Such a treat and so refreshing! So happy they opened a location in Yorktown! The owners are wonderful and it's great to see small businesses choosing Yorktown! My son loved the Jaws (complete with edible glitter and a gummy shark!). The Bonfire was also AMAZING with a root beer and toasted marshmallow flavoring! So many combinations and all so good, can't wait to try more! Really great location close to civic green will make it a fun destination during summer events...

The best day of my life was when I found out this place was opening just a few minutes from me 😭😍 Based on the two drinks I tried on my first visit, I know I’ll be returning for so many more. I super appreciate that they also have more options than just soda.
