We had an overall fun time visiting and picking apples. We probably should have come last month, as it was hard to find red apples this time. The grounds feel a bit unorganized and crowded, making it confusing to figure out where to go, what’s needed, and where to get tickets. For the number of people and the money they bring in, the bathrooms definitely need an upgrade as the portapotties were horrendous.

The apples themselves are fresh and tasty, but at $4 per pound, they’re not cheap. I was also surprised they charge for plastic bags even after spending over $60 on apples. Once a year is plenty for me, considering the crowds and parking situation, expect to park far away on the street, so wear comfortable shoes.

There is ton of variety to choose from as far as the U-pick goes. They have so many different apples, tomatoes, berries, and other vegetables. It can be pretty expensive but is worth doing every now and then. The whole farm itself is huge and a good portion of it is uphill so just know that it will be a bit of a hike depending on where on the farm you go fortunately they do have a wagon ride that can reduce walking times.
