I ordered a gargen kitchen pizza in this location. I placed the order number of the pizza and full drink in the taple that was available for us to sit. I asked my husband to go an take a look at their cigar selection which he bought one. But in the mean time they threw our stuff away. We went back to our table and it was completly empty. I went back and asked the lady in the front and she said they cleaned everything because they were closing. She said things are not to be trusted here. They did gave us a simple mediocre chesse with cherry tomatoes pizza TO GO...It was a bad experience.
Response to owners comment. Unattended table? We placed the drink and the order number in the center of the table meaning we were waiting on the pizza to be serve, but in the mean time we stepped away for a very short minute to continue shopping at your restaurant. We purchased a cigar and it was a very unpleasent surprised to come back to an empty table. Nearly empy is not not empty and you had no right to trow it away. I never asked for a re fill, I complaint that my stuff was not in the table and the lady in the front said sorry I can not give you a re fill because we dont sell wine here. I have a picture I took before entering the restaurant and you can clearly see the cup was half full. The problem was not the wine, the problem was the horrible service we were receiving when we were only investing money in your business. There was a witness outside your location, and when we were leaving he said what you guys did to us was not right. I am happy someone was there to see it. I would have prefer that you would have decline service because you guys were closing instead of throwing our stuff away and rushing us out. Good luck on...
Read moreWilshire's Apple Shed is a great spot to grab lunch and relax in the chill, open-air atmosphere. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious pizzas, coffee drinks, apple-based drinks, baked goods, and hard ciders on tap. We usually visit this place after a morning session of picking apples at a nearby orchard.
The country style and homey ambiance create a pleasant experience while enjoying the food and drinks. On our recent visits, we shared a few 10" wood-fired pizzas and apple pie slices and sipped on some iced apple cider and hard apple cider. My favorite pizzas are the Bees Knees, Kitchen Garden, and Down The Ranch. The cherry tomatoes they use are so good. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. They also offer salads and sandwiches, which I have yet to try.
The attached gift shop is also a wonderful place to browse, grab some merchandise, visit the hard cider bar, or enjoy treats to take home. The staff is also very friendly and hardworking.
The only downside is that it gets busy on weekends, and it's tough to find a seat/table, or even a parking spot. However, if you do have the chance to visit, it's worth it for the fantastic food.
There are outdoor benches and a table located under the trees near the parking lot. I think it's a good idea to bring a tablecloth for...
Read moreWe visited in early October, there was a slight chill in the air. Wishire's Apple Shed is a welcoming, old world cafe and store. They had a wood burning fireplace stoked, and the place felt clean, warm and inviting. We ordered the "Bee's Knees" and pepperoni pizzas. They use a traditional wood fired oven outside, and you can see the process from inside the restaurant. Both pizzas were perfect, delicious with char crisped crust and just the right amount of toppings. Portions were generous, we had some left to take home. We ordered a carmel apple latte and mocha for the road. I do not recommend the carmel apple latte but the mocha was great! Overall this place was fantastic and we will definitely return. We visited on a Monday and there was nobody there but we were told there is a line out the door...
