Nice and cozy place to have a coffee and some delicious pie. I recently visited Wilbrook Apple Farm in Oak Glen and I must say it was a delightful experience. The farm boasts a cozy coffee shop that serves some of the most delicious homemade pies I have ever tasted.
Upon entering the cafe, I was immediately greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rustic decor and pleasant aroma of freshly baked goodies added to the overall charm of the place. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, offering impeccable service throughout my visit.
Now, let's talk about the highlight of the visit - the pies. From classic apple pie to unique flavors like caramel pecan and cranberry walnut, the options seemed endless. I decided to try their signature apple pie, and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly flaky and the filling was bursting with the flavors of fresh apples and a hint of cinnamon. Each bite was a heavenly experience.
Aside from the incredible pies, the coffee at Wilbrook Apple Farm was also top-notch. They offered a wide range of specialty drinks, including flavored lattes and refreshing iced coffees. I paired my pie with a deliciously creamy cappuccino, which elevated the already delightful experience.
What sets Wilbrook Apple Farm apart is their commitment to using fresh, quality ingredients in their baked goods. You can truly taste the difference in every bite. The dedication and passion of the staff are evident in the outstanding quality of their products.
The pie shop is nestled in a picturesque location, surrounded by the beautiful orchards of Oak Glen. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth or simply relax with a hot cup of coffee, Wilbrook Apple Farm is the place to be.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Wilbrook Apple Farm enough. The cozy coffee shop, delectable homemade pies, and friendly staff all contributed to an unforgettable experience. If you find yourself in Oak Glen, make sure to pay a visit to this charming farm - your taste buds...
Read moreITS A SCAM!
Let me start by saying this is my first Google review, I never do this. But it was bad enough where Im hoping no one goes. Im usually the type to apologize profusely to a waiter for sending food back if its completely inedible, to give you an idea of my character.
Anyway, My review (or warning i should say)
Its basically just a backyard of a house. I got scammed for $25 and a 4 hour drive ( 2 hours both ways) RILEYS APPLE ORCHARD NEXT DOOR SAVED THE DAY! I paid for apple picking online at Willowbrook, under the guise that its an orchard. Im from NH and my texas born girlfriend has never been.
They didn't even have apples ready to pick, nothing online said it wasn't starting till the following week (supposedly)They said we could pick blackberries, but there were non of those left on the bushes anyway. Ended up leaving and going to Riley's right next door. No entrance fee (which was Willowbrook whole scam) you pay by the pound at Riley's. And ITS A REAL ORCHARD! There are 50-60 trees, opposed to the 4 at Willowbrook. They even had different kinds of Apple's. Got a pound of apples, some honey, apple jelly and a gallon of cider. Thanks for...
Read moreSuch a beautiful place, and we come every year. They specialize in Stayman Winesap apples, ideal for baking since they'll stay firm at high oven temperatures. The best way I can describe them is tart, sweet, and starchy. The starchiness is what makes them so good for baking, they don't turn to mush in the oven!
The secret is out on Oak Glen in general and you won't be alone up there on any weekend. But, they manage the crowds very well at Willowbrook which is why I only come here. That also means you must wait in line for your turn in the orchard, but it's worth it for a better experience! The owners manage everything so well!
Also, you can tell they work hard to make it an even smoother experience every year, and I really appreciate that.
The large bag is a half peck, which in New England speak is about 5-6 lb. It's more than you think. Enough for multiple apple...
