We booked Hibachi 4ever after doing a ton of research to find an affordable and energetic hibachi experience in LA, and we were so thrilled with how everything turned out. From the moment I reached out, Tracy was incredibly helpful and communicative, walking me through the quote, availability, and all the details I needed to get squared away.

We chose the basic package at $55 per person and loved the range of protein options—chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon, scallops, and tofu—which made it easy to accommodate both vegetarians and pescatarians in our group. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility to update headcount and protein choices up to 24 hours before the party. As anyone planning an event knows, that kind of grace is gold.

The chefs, Jeff and Eric, were amazing. They brought high energy, entertainment, and serious cooking skills to our 40-person party. Even though I didn’t have time to create the name placards for protein choices like the company had suggested (party prep gets real!), they adapted seamlessly, serving people based on a simple hand raise system. The food—salad, veggies, fried rice, and proteins—was plentiful and a hit, even with our gym-going, protein-loving crowd.

What really elevated the experience were the fun games and interactions: the egg toss, the spatula flip, the sake guns. And equally important—they were super respectful of guests (non-drinkers) who opted out. They set up in just 15 minutes and flexed the start time a bit as people arrived, which helped ease us into the celebration. They also gave my husband, the birthday guy, a fun little birthday moment complete with a hat and special candle / confetti surprise.

Overall, this experience was way easier and more enjoyable than I imagined. We provided our own tables, chairs, and utensils to manage costs (some other companies include these), and it was totally worth it to be able to host such a large party. We had Howard as our hibachi chef for my bachelorette party, and he was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. First off, the food was incredible. Easily the best I’ve had in a long time. Every dish was cooked to perfection – from the fried rice and noodles to the steak, shrimp, and chicken. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were spot-on, and the portions were generous. You could tell Howard takes pride in what he does, and it showed in every bite.
