Don't waste your time with the "cavern". It was a tunnel dug up by people (not naturally formed. They did try to decorate it with lights, painting, and statues but not worth the money (20 yuan). We were warned about it but it was a short cut to the main tourist area and we were in a hurry. It was just a small island within a small lake and not much to see. We had a nice walk but it should have been free to visit.

Went there on a rainy and quiet day. The tunnel felt a bit eery. The caves themselves were better maintained but of course all covered in rainbow colored LED everywhere. The park itself is clean, has some peacocks and pagodas.

七星岩风景区位于广东省肇庆市端州区，是国家5A级旅游景区星湖风景区的重要组成部分，以下是对其主要景点的介绍：自然景观 - 星湖：是七星岩景区的重要组成部分，由中心湖、仙女湖、波海湖、青莲湖和里湖等组成，湖面面积达6.24平方千米，湖水清澈，碧波荡漾。 - 七星岩：七座由石灰岩组成的山峰，自东向西依次为阆风岩、玉屏岩、石室岩、天柱岩、蟾蜍岩、仙掌岩、阿坡岩，它们犹如一颗颗散落在湖面上的星星，岩峰布列恰似北斗七星，故而得名“七星岩”。 - 石室洞：是七星岩最典型的喀斯特溶洞，洞内石乳、石柱形态各异，栩栩如生，还保存着600多幅摩崖石刻，涵盖了各个朝代的字体和风格。人文景观 - 七星岩牌坊广场：位于景区入口处，是肇庆市的标志性建筑。牌坊高12米，宽17.5米，始建于1958年，一跨三门四柱，柱础是花篮形，顶为仿歇山顶式，装饰精美。 - 摩崖石刻：2001年被国务院公布为全国重点文物保护单位，主要分布在石室岩、玉屏岩等山峰的崖壁上，内容包括诗词、题记、碑刻等，是中国南方保存较为完整的摩崖石刻群之一。 - 水月宫：始建于明代，是一座具有岭南特色的古建筑，宫内供奉着观音菩萨等佛像，建筑风格典雅，雕梁画栋，具有较高的艺术价值。特色园区 - 星湖国家湿地公园：是广东省第一个通过验收的国家湿地公园，园内有丰富的湿地生态系统，栖息着国家一级保护鸟类丹顶鹤以及苍鹭、池鹭、夜鹭等23种国家三有保护鸟类。 - 丹顶鹤生态园：位于星湖湿地公园内，可以近距离观赏到丹顶鹤、火烈鸟等珍稀鸟类，还能了解到相关的鸟类保护知识。

Visited on 18/11/2023 Saturday, so it is crowded. Entering in West gate 西门 admission ticket CNY70=SGD$13.24 just covering QiXingYan excluuding Dinghu. 七星岩 is China 5A Scenic Area. Gentle Reminder. Either take your breakfast or lunch first before entering as there are booths that sell tea leave hard boiled, fishball CNY20 for maybe 10 pieces or more forgotten as too hungry, steamed sweetcorn. Wear sunglasses or umbrellas, water bottles. I started from 8am+ till 2pm+ and not cover all area yet. It really need to a day to explore. There's a booth selling Boat rides tickets CNY70 for 2 boat rides, first ride cover East gate 东门，南方鸟岛，湿地公园，仙女湖，仙女雕像在湖上，金沙滩。 2nd boat ride cover North gate 北门, alight at Shuangyuan Cave(my looking forward activities as it is lighten in colourful lights to outshine the cave is a 15 minutes boat ride. Shuangyuan Cave is located under Apo Rock. It is the longest still water underground cave in Qixing Rock, with a length of more than 300 meters. The cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. There are two waterways in the cave, one leading out of the north entrance of the cave, and the other extending to the west into a wide Water Cave, where two clear springs gush out from the rock all year round and meet here, so it is called Shuangyuan Cave. This geological wonder has a close relationship with crustal movement and lake water erosion. 双源洞坐船游, 十五分钟，双源洞在阿坡岩下，是七星岩最长的静水地下洞，长达300多米，洞内冬暖夏凉，内有两条水道，一条通出洞的北口，一条向西横展为宽广的水洞，常年有两股清泉自岩中涌出在此处交汇，因此被人称为双源洞. After alighting boat ride crossed over 叠翠桥 North gate 北门 explored 桃花岛 and 水中林趣：一大片的落羽松林非常壮观, 必打卡点 IG spot. I took a buggy ride CNY15 to South gate 南门, which cover 千年诗廊，天柱岩，石室岩，七星岩. This is another Colourful light shows cave can be walkable or take a boat ride. As there's a bridge for you to walk.

Very nice park with different mountains and lakes! Nice to visit and hike up to each individual mountain. Awesome views and delicious food around this area. Always love to come back to Zhaoqing!

Beside the beautiful lake, If you enjoy a peace and quiet rural town, that's would be a good place to stay a few days. And the transport is inexpensive, and easy to manage if you have Alipay.

Despite of the fact that there were so many people visiting the area during the National Day & mid Autumn festival long holidays, the management was able to streamline the transportation of so many visitors. There are queues at bus stations but in general it was in order and did not require an excessively long wait. The temple and natural areas were great. Of course, if you want more tranquility and less crowdedness, try visiting it during normal weekdays.

廣州朋友推介比白雲山更好的景點，入園需購買門票，也可選擇上午六點前免費入園，或是前晚入住園區可免門票，但園區內住宿需要挑選，部分住宿偏老舊，廁所門難合上，設施也偏舊廣州人說鼎湖山泉水是廣州最好的水質，有些人會特別帶容器上山飛水潭據說國父孫中山先生曾在這裡游泳過但是現在水位其實已經變淺很多，有禁止游泳告示蝴蝶谷搭船需另外付費這次因為時間關係來不及去慶雲寺聽說也是值得一去的景點園區裡的食物偏貴，建議可以自備一些充飢解渴的糧食
