🧆 | A Flavorful Journey into Lebanese Cuisine!
During my first week at Georgetown University, so many seniors recommended YELLOW — and it totally lives up to the hype! 🌟 None of us had tried Lebanese 🇱🇧 food before, so we weren’t sure what to order… but our server was super kind and walked us through the menu with great recommendations! 💬❤️ Here’s what we tried: • Almaza "Pilsner" 🍺 – A Lebanese beer that was surprisingly smooth and delicious! That day, they also treated us to a complimentary mocktail! 🥤 • Smoked Olives 🫒 – Rich and aromatic, a great starter! • Falafel Jibne 🧆 – Highly recommend YELLOW’s falafel! Others I’ve tried tended to be dry, but this one completely changed my mind — so flavorful and moist! 😋 • Spicy Lahm Bi Ajeen 🍕 – A savory pastry with a kick! • Sfeeha – The server said this dish shares inspiration with the Spicy Lahm Bi Ajeen, but the taste is distinct enough that it’s worth trying both! • Labne 🍦 – Served with pistachio and baklava ice cream — a unique and delicious dessert! After the meal, they even gave us free pins — which I collect — such a sweet touch! 🎀 📌 Tip: Make a reservation! We waited an hour without one, but used the time to explore nearby shops 🛍️. 📍 1524 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007 #Georgetown #DCfood #DCEats #WashingtonDC #LebaneseFood #HiddenGem #FoodieFavorite #MustTryDC #CampusEats #GeorgetownEats #FoodReview #ShareTheMeal #YELLOWRestaurant #DiningInDC #TrySomethingNew #ComplimentaryTreats #FoodAdventure #StudentApproved #DCGuide
