Museums – Freer Gallery of Art 🏛️🎨

Calling all museum lovers! First up is the charming and compact Freer Gallery of Art (now part of the National Museum of Asian Art). It’s my must-visit spot every time I’m in Washington DC 🏛️💫. It’s never too crowded, so you can really take your time exploring 🧡. Highlights include stunning jade artifacts from the Liangzhu era, magnificent Shang and Zhou dynasty bronzes 🍶✨, and the absolute showstopper—a sublime Ru kiln saucer stand (even if it’s a tiny bit too green 😂). Many of the paintings and calligraphies here are by anonymous artists, but that doesn’t make them any less beautiful 🖼️🌸.
