ββπ¨π¦ Vancouver Day Trip: Chilliwack's Ultimate Food & Nature Escape
Sunny weekends call for road trips!! βοΈ Here's our perfect day-long Chilliwack adventure - complete with waterfalls, brunch spots, and insanely good ice cream π¦ ββπ Bridal Veil Falls (Provincial Park)ββ After breakfast, we drove straight here (1.5 hours from Van). The 10-minute walk to the falls was so worth it - that "waterfall therapy" feeling is REAL π¦β¨ β οΈ Parking gets tight by 11AM - arrive early!! π ββπ District 1881 + Smoking Gun Coffee Roastersββ This hidden alleyway looks straight out of Harry Potter!! π§βοΈ The coffee? Dark, rich, and perfect for bitter brew lovers. We grabbed some beans to take home too βπ πΈ Photo tip: The Hollywood-esque brick walls make amazing backdrops! ββπ Little Beetle (BC's Top Brunch Spot!)ββ Got there at 12:30PM - 20-minute wait (pro tip: put your name down first, then explore District 1881!). Our picks: π³ ββSmoked Salmon Omeletteββ - Stuffed with cheddar, tomatoes, and so juicy π₯ ββSmoked Salmon Bennyββ - On sourdough with garlic butter π At $20, this would cost double in Vancouver!! ββπ Cultus Lakeββ That electric blue-green water though!! π We drove around the lake (multiple parks + a waterpark), but parking was impossible on a weekend π Ended up snapping quick pics roadside - still absolutely magical πΈ ββπ Banter Ice Creamββ Worth the 30-minute line!! Our flavors: β ββCold Brew Coffeeββ - Bold with a bitter kick π ββOrange Creamsicleββ - Like frozen yogurt but better!! (Only in Chilliwack/Abbotsford - must-try!!) βββ½ Final Tip:ββ Fill up in Abbotsford on your way back - gas is way cheaper than the city!! #daytripvibes #chilliwackadventures #waterfallchaser #brunchgoals #icecreamtherapy #explorebc #vancouverweekend #foodietravels #natureescape #roadtripdiaries
