“Charlotte Food Exploration” - The Famous Texas Steakhouse

Visited Texas Roadhouse today, which I’ve been looking forward to for a while. They opened one in Shanghai last year too, and I heard it’s not cheap. 🍃 Ambiance: Waited about half an hour to get in, but almost an hour for the food to arrive, which was pretty slow… The restaurant is huge and loud, with birthday celebrations where a group of servers come and cheer around your table. 👏🏻 🧸 Pre-meal Butter Bread ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s indeed very delicious, and everyone seems to recommend it. The bread is free for refills, and the dipping sauce is cinnamon butter. I don’t usually like cinnamon, but I found it tasty. The bread is freshly baked, warm, soft, and the slight buttery flavor is just right. 🧸 Ribeye Steak Combo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The combo is around $29, with Ribeye and grilled ribs. I chose a cup of Chili and a baked potato for the sides. The steak was ordered medium-rare and was of good quality, cooked to perfection. The grilled ribs taste the same as in restaurants all over the world. The baked potato was a whole 🥔, and I didn’t eat much of it. The chili sauce was decent, with bits of meat in it. 🐙 Summary: Recommended. This steakhouse offers great value for money, and the food is delicious 😋.
