【Bubble Tea Review】He Cha Lou (Crane Tea House) – Long Beach
Checked out the trending He Cha Lou over the weekend! 📍 2604 E Carson St, Lakewood, CA 90712 💰 $5–$6 per cup (they had a BOGO opening special last weekend) 🔆 Taiwanese Milk Tea S2, no ice Pretty standard—tea-forward, light on milk flavor. S2 sweetness was just right for me. Added the staff-recommended oolong tea jelly, but it wasn’t sweet at all (seemed unsweetened). ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔆 Geisha Peach Black Tea S4 This one was better than their milk tea! Strong tea flavor balanced well with peach syrup. Also added black tea jelly (again, not sweet)—probably better without it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔆 Daydream Black Tea Latte Described as having a caramel note, but to me it tasted kind of burnt/overly toasty. Tried it with black sesame tea jelly—interesting but again, not sweet. ⭐️ 📎 Wait time was around 30+ minutes (line + pickup) due to the opening rush. 📎 Though listed as Long Beach, it’s actually about 20 minutes from Irvine with no traffic. 📎 Personally, it didn’t live up to the hype I saw online—maybe just personal preference! #LosAngeles #LABubbleTea #LongBeach #BubbleTea #HeChaLou #TeaReview 🧋✨
