【Greek Food on Abbot Kinney That Actually Hits Different 😭🇬🇷】

Went to check out the new Greek spot Alisa: Wine & Friends on Abbot Kinney with a friend before heading back to my home country. Here’s the lowdown: the food was seriously delicious — great ingredients, balanced flavors, no disappointments. If you order based on your preferences, you really can’t go wrong. That said, portions (except mains) are pretty small, almost tapas-style. Service could use some polishing, but street parking in Venice was easy to find. Highlights: Tried Orzo for the first time and fell in love 😍 At first glance, I thought it was risotto — but bite by bite, I realized it’s pasta! Each grain soaked up so much flavor. Highly recommend! Now, about the service 🧐: We had a reservation and arrived on time, but still waited over 10 minutes to be seated. When we got to the outdoor seating area… it was full of empty tables? And our assigned table was covered in fallen leaves 🍂? (My internal monologue: “So… what were they doing during those 10 minutes?”) We asked to switch seats. When ordering, we asked the server for portion recommendations for our group — didn’t feel very well-trained, couldn’t really give clear advice. We ended up adding dishes later because each plate was pretty small. At over $70 per person, you’d expect more attentive service at this price point 💸 But hey — the food was so good it kinda made up for it 😄👌 #LosAngeles #LAEats #LAFoodie #VeniceBeach #GreekFood #AbbotKinney #FoodReview #AlisaRestaurant #OrzoLove #SmallPlates #FineDiningVibes #ServiceCouldBeBetter #ButTheFoodThough #LAFoodScene #VeniceEats #GreekCuisine
