【Málaga Travel Guide】3 Days Exploring Spain's Sunny Coast! ☀️🇪🇸

Málaga is a hotspot on Spain’s Costa del Sol, just 4h by train from Madrid. We stayed in Huelin—a budget-friendly area with a multicultural vibe. Day 1: Chill Arrival 1️⃣ Huelin Beach 🏖️ A short walk from our stay! Caught a serene sunset—not the fanciest spot, but perfect for unwinding. Dinner at a local bar. Day 2: Postcard-Perfect Towns & Seafood Feasts 1️⃣ Frigiliana 🏡 "One of Spain’s prettiest villages"—and it delivers! Moorish-style white houses + blue skies = insta-magic 📸. 🚍 How to get there: ALSA bus from Málaga → Nerja (1h) → Local bus to Frigiliana (€1.75, cash only). ✔️ Wear comfy shoes—it’s small but hilly! 2h is enough. 2️⃣ Lunch @ Miguel El Manga (Nerja) 🍽️ Fresh Mediterranean flavors! Must-tries: ⭐ Steamed mussels (Mejillones) 🦪 – So fresh, so good! ⭐ Squid (Calamares) – Fried or grilled, both 🔥 ⭐ Garlic bread – Worth the carbs! (~€30/person) 3️⃣ Balcón de Europa 🌊 Nerja’s iconic viewpoint! The "jellyfish sea" is unreal 💙. Pro tip: Go in the afternoon to avoid crowds at the photogenic arch. 4️⃣ Dinner @ Freiduria Chupyta 🍤 No reservation? No problem! Fast queue, Chinese menu available, and they even give a free chupito (shot) after! (~€25/person, great value!) Day 3: Dolphins, Korean Food & Historic Gems 1️⃣ Dolphin-Watching Cruise 🐬 Booked via Costasol (departs from Benalmádena). Only saw 1-2 dolphins (too hot 🥵), but the sea breeze was chef’s kiss. 2️⃣ Lunch @ Wococo (Korean) 🍱 Run by a Korean couple—dishes lean sweet but delicious! We ordered 4 dishes (no oxbone soup in summer 😢). (~€25-35/person) 3️⃣ Málaga Cathedral ⛪ Youth card = €7! Nicknamed "La Manquita" ("One-Armed Lady") due to its unfinished tower. Stunning mix of Renaissance + Baroque, with colorful stained glass and intricate carvings. 4️⃣ Alcazaba (Moorish Fortress) 🕌 11th-century hilltop castle with Arabian Nights vibes! Best views of Málaga + harbor. Golden hour = perfection. ✅ €3.50 entry (FREE Sundays after 2PM!) #Málaga #SpainTravel #CostaDelSol #HiddenGems #TravelGuide #FoodieAdventures #SeaLovers #HistoricSpain
