【OC】Must-Try Matcha & Hojicha Spot! New Location Just Opened! 🍵✨

【Vivot Craft Cafe Mission Viejo】 The Fullerton branch of this cafe has been popular for a long time, famous for its hand-whisked matcha drinks — especially the luxurious matcha flight that lets you try four flavors in one go! It’s been on my list forever, but I never found the time to visit… until now! This weekend, they just opened a new location in Mission Viejo 🎉 Yesterday was Grand Opening — heard it was packed! So I went this morning to beat the crowd and see what the hype is about. ☕️ Vibe & Space The cafe is on the second floor of a mixed-use building, right next to a parking structure (free parking — super convenient!). The interior has an industrial feel with concrete and black metal accents, softened by wooden counters and green plants 🪴 The space is spacious with more than ten small tables — can fit quite a few people. Maybe because I went early, it was still pretty quiet. I chatted with the barista — she said they were crazy busy yesterday 😂 ☕️ Drink Menu Maybe because they just opened, some drinks aren’t available yet — like the 4-flavor matcha flight 😢 But I spotted a hojicha flight on the menu — sounds even more exciting! Definitely trying that next time! The barista said since each matcha/hojicha drink is hand-whisked, a flight of four can take up to 10 minutes to make… dedication! 🤣 ☕️ What I Ordered • Hojicha Latte with Pandan Cream • Double Matcha • Croffle (pretty average, not as good as In-Sit’s) The barista whisking the matcha/hojicha with full focus was so cute 🥰 And the quality totally exceeded my expectations! Rich, bold matcha and hojicha — super delicious!! The pandan cream looked a bit unusual but paired perfectly with the hojicha. Next time I’m trying the ube cream too — looks amazing! ✅ Verdict This isn’t just a gimmick — it’s a legit, delicious, and aesthetic matcha/hojicha cafe. Great space for studying or chatting with friends. I’ll definitely check out the Fullerton location soon for that famous matcha flight!
