🎞️｜From Golden Autumn to Silent Hill: A Film Diary of Madison

A roll of film shot from fall through winter last year in Madison. 🍂 The UW Arboretum is absolutely stunning during peak autumn. A path winding through vast woods—the scenery totally rivals Northern Michigan! 🌫️ One late December morning, I woke up to find the entire city shrouded in thick fog—a pretty rare sight here. So I grabbed my point-and-shoot film camera and headed to the Arboretum and Lake Monona. By then, winter had stripped the trees bare, but wrapped in mist, everything felt hauntingly beautiful. Took the chance to test out local film development services. It’s way more expensive than back in China (almost 1:1 pricing 💸, thanks to US labor costs), but the results were solid.
