🇺🇸 Madison Food Guide! 🍽️
Here’s what I’ve been eating in Madison — a must-try list! 👇 1️⃣ Thai Basil – $20-30 per person A fantastic Thai restaurant! 🍛 Must-tries: Pad Kra Pao (just say “fried pork with basil” 🌿), and any of their curries 🍛. A bit far from campus, but rumor has it they might start delivery soon! 🛵 2️⃣ Taste of Sichuan – $20-30 per person Super delicious Sichuan cuisine! 🌶️🔥 Highlights: Mouthwatering Chicken, Mao Xue Wang, Spicy Mixed Dish, Superior Soup Cabbage, Sour Soup with Beef 🥘. Used Fantuan delivery — $10 off orders over $20 + free delivery with membership 🏢💨. Dine-in experience is great too! 3️⃣ Fugu – $20-30 per person Hunan cuisine — approved by my Hunan friend! 😆 Don’t miss: Twice-Cooked Pork, Stir-Fried Preserved Pork with Dried Radish, Grilled Fish, Spicy Chicken Gizzards 🐟🌶️. Sooo satisfying with rice! 🍚 4️⃣ Nani – $25-40 per person Traditional dim sum 🥢 Try: Dry-Fried Beef Ho Fun, Lava Custard Buns, Shrimp Dumplings, Phoenix Claws, Beef Tripe. Not quite as good as in China, but definitely top-tier in Madison! ✅ A bit far from campus — use Fantuan for $10 off orders over $20! 🥡 5️⃣ Danny’s – $15-30 per person Classic American brunch 🥞☕ Better than most “fancy” brunch spots I’ve tried! You can’t go wrong — build your own plate with whatever you like. I LOVE their nachos! Huge portions, great flavor 🧀🌮. #UWMadison #MadisonFood #CollegeEats #InternationalStudentLife #FoodGuide
