A friend highly recommended this place, so we made a special trip to try it! It’s about a 20-minute drive from downtown, and the food did not disappoint. Three of us shared two pots, and it was just the right amount. The triple combo pot was a highlight—the shrimp was super flavorful, and the cauliflower in it tasted just like dry-pot style, which was delicious. The crispy fish (脆肉皖) was also amazing! It was my first time trying it in a spicy preparation, and I loved it way more than the lighter hot-pot version I had in Shenzhen. The beef short rib was decent but not exceptional. The swai fish pot was also pretty good—the ingredients were well-seasoned and tasty. We arrived pretty late (around 10:30 PM), and there were still three or four tables dining, so it seems like a popular spot! The only downside was that the suggested tip started at 18% on the post-tax amount, which felt a bit steep.
