ATL Food Explore: LO KEE 🍽️✨

It’s been a while since I last shared a food adventure — what better way to start the new year than with a fresh review! Recently, my mom and some friends’ moms visited, so we decided to try something different from our usual Chinese food runs. That’s when I stumbled upon LO KEE — an Asian fusion spot opened by the co-founders of NYC’s well-known SEI LESS! 🍜🌆 The atmosphere here is truly striking: think bold, richly decorated modern Chinese aesthetics — very insta-worthy and immersive. 🎨🏮 We started with oxtail dumplings and lobster spring rolls. The oxtail won by a mile — rich, savory, and deeply flavorful. We also tried the Shanghai-style spare ribs — sweet, tender, and falling right off the bone. 😋🍖 For mains, the sea bass was my personal favorite — crispy outside, glazed with a light sweetness, and beautifully tender inside. The black pepper beef brought that classic savory stir-fry vibe, and I loved the mushrooms cooked with it. The lobster fried rice had nice wok breath and separated grains, though the lobster flavor could’ve been more pronounced. Overall, the flavors here are bold and rich, leaning toward the intense side — but the fusion feels creative, not confusing. Ingredients taste fresh and high-quality. 🥢🌟 If you’re in the mood for modern, inventive Chinese-inspired cuisine in a beautiful setting, LO KEE is definitely worth a visit. Great for special occasions or when you want to impress visiting family! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💖 #AtlantaEats #ModernChinese #AsianFusion #FoodieReview #ATLFoodScene #NewYearNewBites #DiningOut #TrySomethingNew
