🍽️ Atlanta Food Guide | Atlanta, How Are You So Delicious?! 😋

Atlanta, how are you SO GOOD at food?! 😍 Well, it’s all relative—depending on where you’re coming from. As someone from DC, which is practically a Chinese food desert, I was blown away! My friend from New York couldn’t stop raving about how affordable and tasty everything was. We ate out only 6 times in 5 days, and looking back, I wish we’d eaten more. Just seeing these photos again makes my mouth water! Here’s where we went: 1️⃣ Urban Hai 📍 77 12th St NE suite 7, Atlanta, GA 30309 A Chinese restaurant in downtown that serves amazing roasted duck! 🦆 They also gave us a complimentary soup that tasted like duck blood vermicelli soup (probably from a seasoning pack, but still tasty!). 2️⃣ Bamee Tee 📍 4897 Buford Hwy NE #162, Chamblee, GA 30341 A Vietnamese spot with a wide variety—fried rice, noodles, pho—all delicious! I tried the Bun Bo Hue (spicy pork knuckle noodle soup) 🍲, which had thick round noodles and a rich, slightly spicy broth. Also ordered a shrimp paste noodle salad—smelly but great if you love fermented shrimp sauce! 3️⃣ Chili Spot I’ve written a separate post about this place—but in short: incredibly delicious Sichuan food! 🌶️🔥 Highly recommend! 4️⃣ Hwangso Gopchang 📍 2645 N Berkeley Lake Rd NW STE 130, Duluth, GA 30096 As a beef intestine lover, I was thrilled to find this place! 🐮 We got a combo—the small intestine was a bit funky, but the large intestine was delicious. Next time, I’d just order the large intestine a la carte. Also tried pork neck, fried rice, and seafood soup—all solid! 5️⃣ Okiboru 📍 3614 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096 A great spot for ramen and dipping noodles (tsukemen). The broth for the dipping noodles is on the saltier side, but it’s a fun and unique experience if you’ve never tried it before! 🍜 6️⃣ Wong Kee BBQ and Peking Duck Restaurant 📍 5495 Jimmy Carter Blvd # A3, Norcross, GA 30093 Their roasted duck and char siu (BBQ pork) are absolutely fantastic! 🦆🍖 The owner is from Taishan, and the flavors are authentic and on point.
