🍽️ Baltimore Food Guide | Must-Try Restaurants!

I’ve mostly lived in VA, but my few trips to Baltimore have always been delicious! Here are my top picks – enjoy! πŸ˜‹ 1️⃣ Thames Street Oyster House πŸ¦ͺ Lots of hype – for good reason! Hard to book, but worth it. Scallops – Perfectly seared, tender, served with corn or beans (corn is better!). Pan-Seared Fish – Fresh and paired with spinach and sweet potato 🍠. Crab Cake – Their signature! Topped with cinnamon sauce – unique and tasty. Oysters – Just okay, not especially large or impressive πŸ˜‘. Tip: Ask for the daily special – usually a win! 2️⃣ L.P. Steamer πŸ¦€ Casual seafood spot – great for steamed goodness! Blue crabs, scallops, shrimp – all fresh and flavorful! Blue crabs are addictive – you’ll want more than 2 per person! No long waits even at peak times 😊. 3️⃣ Blue Moon Cafe πŸŒ™ Popular brunch spot – go early! Portions are huge. Crab Benedict – Loaded with crab meat – a must-try! Homemade Potato Cakes – Tasty, but the burger is just okay. French Toast – Huge, not too sweet, crispy outside, soft inside. Drinks are meh – orange juice is canned, coffee is basic β˜•. 4️⃣ Hippo Kitchen πŸ” Taiwanese-style snacks! Perfect for a light meal or tea time. Popcorn Chicken & Bridge Pork Chops – Solid! β€œPeking Chicken Wrap” – Tastes just like KFC! 🌯 Scallion Pancake with Egg – So good! Great for cravings and casual bites πŸ₯’. 5️⃣ Captain James 🚫 Not recommended – sadly disappointing. Crab cake was soggy and bland 😒. Forgettable overall – skip this one! Baltimore’s food scene is underrated! Give these spots a try πŸŽ‰. #Baltimore #BaltimoreEats #DMVFood #SeafoodLover #BrunchGoals #FoodGuide
