🍽️ Café Hollander Hilldale – A Mixed Bag of Tastes!

Finally finished moving – so excited to slowly explore Madison’s food scene! Since my boyfriend is leaving tomorrow, I asked ChatGPT to recommend a local favorite – and here we landed 😄 🧀 Cheese Curds So delicious! Crispy outside, stretchy cheesy inside, and the dipping sauce was amazing – definitely the highlight! 👍 🐟 Fish Fry Nuggets “Kibbeling” Just okay… The batter was too thick and doughy – not our favorite. 🍔 Sconnie Burger Felt a bit gimmicky – topped with a skewer of cheese curds 🍢. The patty was thick but dry and bland. Kinda regret this one 😅 🍗 Balsamic Herb Chicken The roasted chicken thigh was flavorful with crispy skin – but a bit tough and dry. The purple rice and sweet potato underneath with sauce tasted interesting though!
