Corpus Christi has so many delicious spots — here are my top recommendations: 🦀 Doc’s Seafood and Steaks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Located right by the ocean! Specializes in fresh seafood and hearty steaks 🥩🌊. Must-tries: Catch of the day (super fresh!), grilled seafood platter, and the South Texas Eggrolls. The view is amazing — perfect for enjoying sea breezes while dining 😌☀️. 🏄 Executive Surf Club ⭐⭐⭐ A very local spot with cool surf-themed decor 🏄♂️. They serve burgers, fish & chips, and other fast eats. The beef burger was juicy and tasty, but the fried fish and shrimp were just okay. Heads-up: The place has a fun vibe, but we noticed some flies inside 🪰. 🍟 Whataburger ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Corpus Christi is the birthplace of Whataburger! This location at 121 N Shoreline Blvd is near the water and has two floors (though the 2nd was under renovation when we went). Their burgers and fries are great — though the fried chicken was just average 🍔❤️. 🌽 The Back Porch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A cute snack stand inside the Texas State Aquarium 🐠. Try the Elote Cup — grilled corn with a tangy, slightly spicy kick 🌶️😋. Also recommend the Agua Fresca (watermelon-mint drink) — so refreshing! Perfect spot to relax with a view of the USS Lexington 🛳️💨. 🦞 Surfing Crab Cajun Seafood Boil ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We ordered delivery: snow crab + shrimp + crawfish boil 🦀🍤, plus steak fried rice. Huge portions, full of flavor — highly recommend! 🍜 Ramen Legend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Also got delivery here — tried sushi, gyoza, and ramen 🥟🍣. Their gyoza (dumplings) are a must!
