🌊 Checked in at North Beach, Corpus Christi – Hello, Gulf of Mexico!

North Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Corpus Christi — just a few minutes' drive from the USS Lexington 🚗⚓. We arrived in the morning, and as expected (since it’s not Miami 😜), it was pretty empty — peaceful and quiet 🌅👣. I hopped out of the car, snapped a few photos 📸✔️, soaked in the calm vibe, and marked another beach visit ✅🌴. 🏝️ Padre Island National Seashore ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The second-largest barrier island in the U.S. 🇺🇸🌊 We visited the northern part near Malaquite Visitor Center 🗺️. This area is less developed — pristine beaches, plenty of seabirds 🕊️, and fewer crowds. The water isn’t crystal blue, but the sand is soft and the vibes are peaceful 😌☀️. Facilities include wooden seating, restrooms, and outdoor showers 🚿. Entrance: $10 per vehicle (all-day access). Gotta be honest though — the sand here isn’t the softest or whitest 🏖️😅.
