⛷️ Flew All the Way to Aspen for This — Totally Worth It! 🌟

Traveled thousands of miles just to ski in Aspen, and it was absolutely worth it! 😭❤️ Uncrowded gondolas, super wide slopes, no bumps, no ice, no wind — it’s a dream ski experience. I skied 🎿 2 days at Snowmass and 1 day at Highlands. Both are perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers. A real paradise for dual-plankers! 🥹✨ 🏔️ Aspen Snowmass: Tons of runs. Even though the mountain is big, the lifts and gondolas manage crowds really well — great flow, no stress! Elk Camp: Famous ♠️ logo photo spot! Lots of fun blue runs. “Longshot” is a long, fun ungroomed tree run 🌲 — loved it! Note: Getting to the very top requires a short hike at 3,500m altitude. Carrying your skis up there is a workout! 💪 The Cirque: Highest point reachable by lift at Snowmass. Take the T-bar after the chairlift. From there, you can only ski double blacks or blues. Try taking Highpass to Higg Alpine for a cool intermediate route with some powder along the way! ❄️ Big Burn, Sheer Bliss, Alpine Spring, Village Express: Mostly blue runs — all super fun and repeat-worthy! 🔁 🏂 Aspen Highlands: Even wider runs, amazing snow, and way fewer people. Personally loved it even more! Lodge Peak: Take the Exhibition lift to Loge Peak for awesome skiing. This is also the gateway to Highlands Bowl. There’s a deck behind the peak with epic mountain views 🏞️. Though Highlands has fewer runs than Snowmass, every one is top quality. Pro tip: Ride the Thunderbowl lift — you’ll experience the WIDEST blue run of your life. So. Much. Fun. 😍 🍽️ On-Mountain Dining: 🍔 Ullrhof: Not a burger person? Their burgers might change your mind. So good! 🍕 Up 4 Pizza: Cozy spot at higher elevation. ☕️ High Alpine: Pizza, sandwiches — a great rest stop. 🍴 Merry Go Round (Highlands): Basic cafeteria vibe right next to the Exhibition lift. Nothing fancy, but you ski right up to it. Next post: Eating and playing around Aspen town! Stay tuned 😉 #TravelDiary #SkiLife #SkiTheWest #AspenSkiing #AspenEats #SkiGuide #Snowmass #HighlandsBowl #SkiDual #EndOfSeason
