Aspen Food Recommendations|Summary 🍽️

Ski season is here and everyone’s hitting the slopes! ⛷️ Sharing some delicious eats from my summer trip to Aspen, CO! Casa Tua – The first restaurant I saw when arriving downtown. Super tasty with almost no disappointments. Great drinks too! Highly recommend the eggplant and their black truffle pasta. 🍆🍝 Clarks – This place is super popular. Couldn’t get a reservation, but snagged seats at the bar around 5 PM. Every dish was a hit! Must-try: lobster roll and mussels (some of the best in Aspen!). 🦞 Catch Steak – Our first dinner out in Aspen. Absolutely incredible! The Japanese wagyu was so tender. If you don’t want a full steak, order a few slices of wagyu. The Blue King Roll was my favorite! Other appetizers were great too. 🥩🍣 Matsuhisa – A Japanese restaurant. We walked in without a reservation. Everything we ordered was delicious. Another amazing Japanese spot is Kenichi (an izakaya) – couldn’t fit the pics, but you MUST try their tempura ice cream. Mind-blowing! 🍤🍨 Monarch Steak House – Another steakhouse, 361, is also great, but I preferred Monarch slightly. Their mussels are THE BEST – the sauce is just perfection. 🥩🍷 Bear Den – A brunch spot. Their cappuccino is amazing! Tried their omelet multiple times – loved it. French toast is great for sharing (can be too rich for one or two people). ☕🍳 White House Tavern – A classic American sandwich shop. The sandwiches are loaded and flavorful. Also loved their small appetizers. Highly recommend the French Dip. 🥪😋 French Alpine Bistro – The decor and ambiance are top-notch! Unfortunately, the duck leg and mussels were just okay. Heard the steak is good, and the foie gras was decent. Overall, vibe > food. 🏔️🍷 Aspen Public House – A casual spot, but the food surprised us! Almost no disappointments. 👍 A few others worth mentioning (no space for pics): Almresi (German cuisine?) Ellina (So good but hard to get a reservation!) Aspen has tons of fine dining – make reservations early, or it’s hard to get a table! Most places are great and won’t disappoint. 😊 #Aspen #Skiing #Vacation #Food #FoodReview #Travel
