🎟️ How to "Have the Vatican & Rome to Yourself" with Guided Tours 🎟️
The ticket is for: Hidden Vatican Museums 🌳Upon arrival, go straight to the counter and show your ticket at the special permit counter. After that, a guide will be arranged to accompany and explain the visit. With this ticket, there's no need to wait in line, and some areas will have barriers opened directly for us to enter. 🌳There are two main areas to visit. One is the Bramante Staircase, which leads to a rooftop terrace with a 360-degree view of the city, allowing us to enjoy the panoramic view without any disturbances. The other is the private chapel and audience chamber of Pope Nicholas V, which is exclusively used by the Pope and his attendants. The architectural style is different from the outside, with a ceiling resembling a caisson, and the frescoes inside are the works of Angelico. 🌳During our visit, we were the only group in these areas, and the guide did not rush us. When I visited on my own later, the contrast was stark with the overwhelming number of people. 🌳I allocated only two full days for sightseeing in Rome, so I found a local guide, a young man who graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and studied ancient architecture in Italy. He is very knowledgeable about Roman history and well-versed in all popular attractions. He also took me to some lesser-known spots on the way to the main attractions. I should have given him a time frame initially and let him arrange the itinerary. 🌳I am someone who cannot enjoy a museum without a guide, needing company and conversation. This Roman guide is currently at the top of my satisfaction list among all the guides I've had. #Rome #Italy #Vatican #HistoricCityArchitecture
