Tried another Chinese restaurant โ and with a big group, we got to order almost the whole menu! ๐ฅข๐ Hereโs the rundown: ๐ Hand-Held Ribs (Spicy) Tasty seasoning, but so dry โ like jerky with flair. Flavor = ๐, texture = ๐ฌ ๐ Three Cup Chicken Sweet and sticky (Iโm from Fujian โ I can handle it!). Skin was crispyโฆ maybe too crispy โ first piece scratched my throat ๐ Still decent though! ๐ฅฌ Stir-Fried Pea Shoots Delicious! Approved by my friends from Sichuan + Chongqing + Chengdu! โ ๐ฅ Hot & Sour Potato Shreds Really sour and really spicy โ no joke! ๐ถ๏ธ๐ ๐ Spicy Beef Strips So tender, so flavorful โ but damn spicy! Why do Madison restaurants nail beef so well? ๐คค ๐บ Beer Duck Well-cooked duck, but not very flavorfulโฆ Miss the beer duck from that one place in Duluth ๐ข ๐ Tofu Fish Stew Super soft tofu and tender fish โ but bland except for a light spicy surface kick. A fun feast with highs and lows โ worth a try if youโre craving Sichuan vibes!
