🏙️ Is this the so-called “empty city” of the human world…? 👻
I’m back in Kansas City, Missouri—this time entirely for work. If I ever want to film a movie set in a deserted city, my first choice would be Kansas City… because you can film anywhere and there’s literally NO ONE around! It’s truly an empty city—such a strange vibe. The architecture is new, beautiful, and full of design, but where is everyone? 🧐 Do any locals know why? Even at the main Union Station, I stood right in the middle and took photos for a full 30 minutes without a single person photobombing! Waiting at crosswalks is a whole experience too—this city might not be used to pedestrians, so the walk signals take over three minutes to change. 😂 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: Loews Kansas City Hotel I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Address: 1515 Wyandotte St, Kansas City, MO 64108, United States This place is luxurious—spacious rooms, super comfortable, and the service (starting from the front desk) is excellent. There’s also a bar that’s perfect for business meetings. Very photogenic too! If you want to experience what it’s like to be (almost) alone in a city, come to Kansas City… but honestly, if you don’t have a reason to be here, you’re not missing much 😅. I’m only writing this because I came for work. ➕ Two extra spots I didn’t mention last time: 📍 The Kemper Museum(Modern art museum) 📍 Oak Park(A large shopping mall) 📝 For a full guide, check out my previous Kansas City post! #Travel #Missouri #KansasCity #BusinessTrip #HotelReview #HiddenGems #DesertedVibes
