🏝️ Jeju Island 4D3N Guide
💥 Day 1: Arrival + Downtown Exploration 🚦 Cheomseongdae Street : A downtown pedestrian street. (For better shopping, Bokjeong-ro is more recommended—more stores and vibes!) 🍮 Umu Pudding: Tried their original and matcha puddings—both were pretty good! They also sell cute (souvenirs) worth checking out. 🍖 Black Pork Street Walked into a random restaurant for dinner. The grilled pork tasted okay but was way too fatty, and the makgeolli (rice wine) was not good at all! ⚠️ Warning: We lost our wallet on Cheomseongdae Street—we’re not sure if it fell out or got stolen. We hung our coin purse outside our bag, forgetting that “you shouldn’t flaunt your valuables”! Keep your belongings safe here! 🚗 Day 2: East Coast Private Car Tour 🌄 Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak : Took only 20 minutes to reach the top—quick hike with stunning sea views! 🏝️ Udo Island Guide: 🚢 We took our private car onto the island (paid an extra ~500 for the car ferry). The experience was amazing! We drove around the island, stopping whenever we saw a spot we loved to enjoy the sea. 🚤 Udo Speedboat: Super fun! We chose the route that goes into sea caves—total ride time was about 30 minutes, costing 30,000 KRW (my memory’s a bit fuzzy on the exact price). I originally thought it’d be like the caves on Flowers Over the Sea where you sail through connected caves, but these were closed off—we had to go in and then back out. 🍨 Peanut & Orange Ice Cream: Tried both! The peanut one tasted like peanut milk—gets more flavorful the more you eat. But I liked the orange one better (so fresh, with a hint of Jeju’s famous oranges!). 🪨 Seopjikoji : Has gorgeous “jelly sea” and unique volcanic rock formations. We had to rush through it because our private car rental was almost over (250 RMB extra per hour if overtime)—but it’s still worth a visit! (Locals reportedly love coming here for camping.) ☕️ Day 3: West Coast Private Car Tour 🌧️ It rained all day—lucky we bought a raincoat beforehand! Way more convenient than holding an umbrella. 🪨 Jusangjeolli Cliff : The rock formations are so unique—definitely worth a stop! But the area is small; you can finish exploring in 30 minutes max. 🔫 Live-Fire Shooting Experience: Tried a rifle and a pistol. Personally, the rifle was way easier to shoot (my rifle score was totally better than my pistol one!). 🌊 Aewol-eup : Even in the rain, the sea was still beautiful! We played around in the rain like fools—and unexpectedly, two girls from the café on the opposite rooftop took photos of us (our “third-person perspective” shots!). We even ran into them at our hotel that night—such a weird, wonderful coincidence! 👜 Day 4: South Coast + Departure 🫧 Jeongbang Waterfall : It’s said to be the only waterfall in Asia that flows directly into the sea. But don’t get your hopes up—it’s really small! If you have time, stop by anyway—the nearby sea is lovely. 📍 Seogwipo Olle Market : Felt like a regular vegetable market. The taxi ride from the waterfall took longer than the time we spent (wandering) the market! ☕️ Café Hopping: Heard the private cafés here are great, so we picked one randomly—CAFE FALLIN. The walk there was bumpy; we even thought we’d ended up in the middle of nowhere! But the café had amazing sea views, and both the coffee and pastries were delicious. 😪 Ramblings & Tips 1️⃣ Cheomseongdae Street seems prone to pickpocketing or lost items—keep a close eye on your wallet! 2️⃣ BHC Fried Chicken is truly delicious—we ate it two meals in a row! #JejuGuide #jeju🌴
