🍽️ LA’s Xi Bei $12 Lunch Buffet – Honest Review

Got hungry while shopping at Arcadia Mall and decided to try the recently talked-about $12 Xi Bei lunch buffet. Here’s the real deal: the price is definitely rock-bottom… but the flavor? Well, you know 🤣 — it’s got NOTHING to do with the real Xi Bei from China. Just your average Chinese-style buffet. The buffet area is separate from the regular menu section. We went around 1 PM — no wait! ⏳ 📦 About the Food: Only 9 dishes + soup + rice — not a lot of variety. 🔴 The Good 👍 Braised Fish Fillets – Tasty and a bit spicy! Sliced Pork in Sauce – Tender and flavorful with a nice kick 🌶️ Tomato & Egg – Standard, but decent. ⚫️ The Not-So-Good 👎 Eggplant & String Beans – Super oily… like, oil overload 💦 Braised Pork Meatballs – A bit of that porky smell, not my favorite. ⚪️ The Just-Okay Cucumber Salad / Wood Ear Mushroom Salad Orleans-Style Grilled Chicken Leg Salt & Pepper Baby Potatoes All very basic — think cafeteria-level food. 💭 Final Take: For $12 in LA, you can definitely fill your stomach with Chinese food — no arguing it’s cheap! But if you care about flavor or prefer less grease, maybe head to the à la carte menu instead 😉 #LAFoodReview #XiBeiBuffet #ArcadiaEats #BudgetEats #ChineseFoodLA #EatOnABudget 💸🥢
