ποΈ Lake Tahoe | 2 Days 1 Night
Another mini "special forces" weekend trip β drove 4 hours to Tahoe for clear kayaking, snowy mountain views, and surprisingly still found snow in June! βοΈ Drove from the Bay Area via Highway 80 (safe and easy route!), explored the northwest shore first, then headed south. Stayed in South Lake Tahoe and looped back north along the east shore the next day. π Rail Tracks Visited the Spirited Away-style underwater tracks! π€οΈ Located in a park with a $10 vehicle entry fee. Perfect for, sunbathing, or picnicking by the lake π Shallow, emerald-green water near the bridge β super photogenic! πΈ π Emerald Bay Stopped near Lower Eagle Falls β iconic views of the bay and surrounding mountains ποΈ. π Sand Harbor β Clear Kayaking Booked with Clearly Tahoe β their clear kayaks sell out fast, so reserve early! π£βοΈ Sunscreen is a MUST β I got sunburned in 1.5 hours π Stunning views of snow-capped mountains across the lake ποΈ Tour guides take photos for everyone β bonus! If we had more time, weβd have biked around the lake too β but driving the full loop was still amazing! #LakeTahoe #TravelGuide #ClearKayaking #SummerInTahoe #BayAreaWeekends ποΈβ¨
