๐บ๐ธ๏ฝSummer in Tahoe is a Fairyland on Earth ๐๏ธ๐
Lake Tahoe is the perfect weekend getaway for working professionals! The entire area is free to explore โ you only pay for parking (and most people drive anyway ๐). Day 1: Afternoon Arrival ๐ Rail Tracks ($10 parking, but no one checks) This spot isnโt super popular, but it was my favorite of the trip! ๐ The jelly-like water is stunning โ you can sit on large rocks by the shore, dip your feet in the lake, and enjoy the serene views. Nearby, thereโs also a Spirited Away-style underwater track for photos. ๐ Emerald Bay State Park Lookout (free parking) A breathtaking overlook of the bay โ kinda like Hangzhouโs Thousand Islands Lake ๐. Youโll see gorgeous views while driving, but this spot is perfect for stopping and snapping pics ๐ธ. Day 2: Biking Day! ๐ดโ๏ธ Morning: ๐ Cave Rock Trailhead (free parking) From here, hike up the wild path on the left โ about 15 mins to the summit! The view from the top is already amazing ๐๏ธ. Thereโs a steeper rock pile to climb further, but I skipped it (wore flip-flops ๐ ). Afternoon: ๐ Flume Trail Bikes โ Sand Harbor (2-hour bike ride) The bike path is separate from vehicles (shared with hikers). With stops for photos, 2 hours was just right! E-bike: $68 (2H) / $89 (full day) Regular bike: $39 (2H) / $49 (full day) Sand Harbor entry: $2 โ itโs just a regular beach ๐๏ธ. ๐ Secret Cove (park roadside) Came for the viral jelly-water photos, but the view from the top is enough ๐. This is a nude beach (though most people wear clothes โ only a few older folks are naked ๐). The best views are where they gather, so it felt awkward to go down. #Tahoe #TravelGuide #SummerInTahoe #NatureEscape #JellyLake #CaliforniaDreaming ๐ฃโ๏ธโจ
