🏛️ Little Rock, Arkansas | Day 59 of Touring 48 States .🚗💨
Little Rock—the capital of Arkansas and the hometown of former U.S. President Bill Clinton! 🏠🇺🇸 The Clinton family lived and worked here for several years, leaving a lasting mark on the city. We started the day with a light drizzle, but thankfully, the rain cleared by noon! ☔🌤️ And what a special day it was—Easter Sunday! ✝️🌸 Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and across the city, families dressed in their finest outfits gathered in churches for services. 🐣🎩🐇 Just like how Chinese New Year has spring couplets and paper-cuts, Easter in the U.S. is all about bunnies, colorful eggs, and lilies! We passed by a lovely weekend farmers’ market 🥕🍓 where local farmers sold fresh produce and homemade goods. The surrounding neighborhoods were peaceful and charming. Nearby, the old and new Arkansas State Capitols stood side by side—a striking contrast between history and modernity! 🏛️⚖️ One funny thing—many people mistake the Korean Temple in town for a Chinese building. It’s actually a Korean dojang! 🇰🇷🙏 Little Rock is small but deeply meaningful—a mix of nature, history, and social change. #USA#LittleRock #Arkansas #Easter #CivilRights #CentralHighSchool #ClintonLegacy #Hiking
