☕️ Madison Eats | Fair Trade Coffee on State Street

I was on my way to the Asian supermarket when the rich, inviting aroma of coffee from this place literally made me stop and turn around 😮☕️ Ended up staying for a while — and so glad I did! The café is filled with hand-drawn sketches of Madison street scenes and anti-war artwork 🎨✌️, giving it a cozy, thoughtful vibe. Their pastry selection is impressive too! I tried the cheesecake ($6) — so creamy and satisfying! I’ve always been a huge fan of Whole Foods’ cheesecake, and while this one was denser and richer, Whole Foods still wins on value 😅🧀 The coffee and matcha latte were decent — nothing extraordinary, but solid. My friend zozo ordered the blackberry iced tea 🍇🍵 — it had a distinct oolong bitterness with a strong blackberry kick at first sip.
