โ RECOMMENDED: ๐ Cento โ Still my Italian go-to! Brunch & dinner available. Canโt remember pasta names ๐ but their Tiramisu and Hazelnut Gelato are must-orders! โ ๏ธ Inconsistent though โ sometimes pasta is undercooked. Service gets slow when busy. Cocktails are just okay. ๐๏ธ Eno Vino โ Great food with a view of the Capitol! ๐๏ธ Try the Lobster and Bruschetta. Good service. ๐ฅฉ Rare Steakhouse โ Excellent steaks, nice atmosphere. Sides are decent too. ๐ฆช Sardine โ French restaurant with delicious oysters! ๐ฎ Bartaco โ Not authentic Mexican, but SO good! A regular spot for me. Try the Duck Tacos and Pork Belly Tacos ๐ + Coconut Ice Cream. Grab boba after at Bambu next door! ๐ฒ๐ฝ La Hacienda โ Huge portions! Comes with tons of tortillas โ you wonโt finish it all. ๐ Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que โ Solid American BBQ. Recommend the BBQ Ribs. ๐ณ Short Stack Eatery โ Popular brunch spot. Benedict is okay, but not worth long waits ๐. โ Ancora Cafe + Bakery (University Ave) โ Tasty brunch, nice vibe. ๐ฅ Basset Street Brunch Club โ Famous brunch place. Coconut Cream French Toast is good but heavy. Drinks are meh. ๐ Mooyah (State St) โ Burger joint with amazing Sweet Potato Fries! ๐ซ NOT RECOMMENDED: ๐ท Kettle Black Kitchen โ Overhyped. Limited menu. Pork Shank tasted tooโฆ piggy. ๐ฝ ๐ Naples15 โ Mediocre Italian. Pasta is average, seafood not fresh, pizza is basic. Cocktails are bad. Let me know your favsโor places to avoid! ๐ #Madison #MadisonFood #FoodReview #WisconsinEats #Foodie
