✈️ Maine 2-Day Getaway Guide 🚗🌊

Bored on the plane, so here’s my quick Maine trip recap! Since we were already in Boston, we “detoured” (😂) for a 6-hour drive to Maine. Drove northeast toward Acadia, stopping in Portland (Maine’s capital) for food + gas ⛽. Visited Portland Head Light lighthouse 📍—super photogenic! Acadia National Park: Explored by car 🚙—$35/vehicle (valid 7 days). Highlights: Sand Beach 🏖️ (stunning coastal views!). Skipped hikes (we’re lazy 😆), missed sunrise/sunset (cloudy + no tickets 😅). Verdict: We missed the best parts, but still had fun! 🎉 🏨 Accommodation: Stayed at Edenbrook Motel (Bar Harbor) 🏡. 5-min drive to Acadia + town. $270/night (peak season, book early for discounts!). Check-in at 4 PM—explore town/park first! Tip: Some motels face the ocean—sunrise views without Cadillac Mountain! 🍽️ Food & Drinks: Dinner: Ramen in Bar Harbor (bad but warm 🍜—hunger wins!).
