ποΈ Runyon Canyon Trail π
π 2000 N Fuller Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046 ποΈ Monday, September 22, 2025 Arrived around 3 PM and easily found parking close to the entrance β the sign says no parking Monday from 12 PM to 3 PM, so timing worked out! πβ Inside, two paths: β’ Go straight for the West Trail: dirt path, a bit rough but fun and adventurous! β’ Turn left for the Paved Fire Road: smooth concrete, super easy β even saw three people pushing strollers (and at the exit, noticed two were actually pushing cats! πΈ). The East Trail was temporarily closed, so I went up the West Trail and came down via the Paved Fire Road. The whole way, you get amazing views of Los Angeles below π. Lots of muscular guys and fit girls around πͺπ, and sooo many dogs! πβ€οΈ Saw one guy at the top setting up his phone on a post for a timer selfie β flexing his arms and even jumping for the shot! πΈπ Almost no shade along the trail βοΈ β I used to not mind the sun, but since getting burned before, I wore a hat and used sunscreen. A few spots had water fountains (dogs were drinking, so probably safe for people too π°). Only two portable restrooms near the entrance π». In a pinch, the bushes on the hill might have to do... πΏ Have you hiked Runyon Canyon? Whatβs your favorite trail in LA?
