🏜️ Sedona, AZ | Easy & Scenic 2-Day Itinerary
Due to a knee injury from Petrified Forest NP, I swapped my original Subway Cave plan for gentler trails. Here are my recommended low-effort but stunning spots in Sedona: • Secret Slickrock Trail Less than 1 mile, flat path with unobstructed views of Cathedral Rock. 🅿️ Small but usually has space. • Chapel of the Holy Cross A church built into the rocks 🏔️—short walk uphill with symbolic “praying hands” stone formations and great views. • Airport Mesa Sunset Perfect sunset spot! 🌅 Only 5-6 parking spots at Mesa; park at Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout and walk down. For better views, take the Summit Trail (short climb). • Bell Rock Pathway Took the Pathway Trailhead (south side). Didn’t summit but still enjoyed gorgeous red rock views. 🅿️ Paid parking. • Devil’s Bridge Two routes: Dry Creek or Mescal Trailhead (recommended by Pink Jeep guides for better scenery). ~2.4 miles one way—mostly flat, final stretch has a moderate climb. More details in a future post! 👣 • Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park A rare Buddhist stupa and statue in the West 🕉️—serene and perfect for quiet reflection. • Blue McDonald’s Famous landmark with the world’s only blue arches! 💙 Try the blue slushie or Powerade. • Pink Jeep Tour Took the bumpy Rim 2.5 route for off-roading thrill. For better scenery, choose Broken Arrow! 🚙 #Arizona #Sedona #SedonaGuide #TravelArizona #Hiking #Phoenix #SedonaTravel 🌵📸✨
