Sedona is home to the only McDonald’s in the world with a blue logo

Sedona turned out to be the most unexpected surprise of this trip. Originally, we just planned to use it as a rest stop after visiting the Grand Canyon, but we ended up falling in love with it even before arriving. Driving down from Flagstaff, we passed through the incredibly scenic Oak Creek Canyon Drive—a winding road following a stream through a stunning valley.🌅 As soon as we entered Sedona, we were surrounded by majestic red rock mountains. The breeze felt like heaven, especially after coming from Page. We instantly wanted to settle down here—the air was fresh, the streets were clean and well-organized, full of beauty and harmony.🌅 We grabbed some snacks at the only McDonald’s on Earth with a blue logo. Rumor has it that the Sedona government has strict aesthetic regulations to ensure all buildings blend with the natural red rock scenery. The traditional golden arches weren’t allowed, so when this McDonald’s was built in 1993, they made an exception and used turquoise arches instead.🌅 We also booked a super comfortable hotel at a very affordable price. All the discomfort from days spent in the desert was completely healed. 🧚‍♀️ #Sedona #McDonalds #McLovin #Arizona 🍔
