Arizona Trip|2-Day Relaxed Sedona Getaway for Non-Hikers 🏜️🚗

Earlier I shared detailed 8-day Arizona itineraries for families—check my collection! This time, here’s a relaxed 2-day Sedona trip perfect for those who prefer easy-going exploration. Sedona is located 2 hours north of Phoenix. 🔮 It’s known for its 4 energy vortexes (Airport Mesa, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Boynton Canyon) 🏜️ Also called Red Rock City for its stunning rock formations and famous trails (e.g. Subway Cave, Devil’s Bridge). But since my kid and I aren’t big hikers, we kept it chill! Day 1 ✅ Bell Rock Trail We parked at Bell Rock Pathway ($5 fee). The trail can be as easy or challenging as you like — we took it easy 😉. ✅ Chapel of the Holy Cross A sacred church built into the rocks — serene and majestic with panoramic views. Parking is available on the slope, but the entrance can get crowded. ✅ Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village Spanish colonial-style plaza with galleries and artisan shops. My kid loved the art! 🎨 🍔 Dinner: Tortas de Fuego — tasty and affordable Mexican food. Day 2 ✅ Blue McDonald’s Grabbed a blue slushie for the iconic photo 💙 ✅ Airport Mesa One of the vortex sites — great for sunset! Only 10 parking spots, but drive 2 mins up the hill for more options. ✅ Airport Scenic Lookout Perfect for lazy travelers 😄 — park ($3 fee), cross the street, and enjoy epic red rock views! ✅ Red Rock Scenic Byway Drove back to Phoenix through this breathtaking route — like moving through a painting 🖼️ ✅ Montezuma Castle National Monument Ancient cliff dwellings built 700 years ago ($10 entry). A short loop trail with pretty fall leaves and a creek 🍂 #BayAreaLife #BayArea #Sedona #Arizona #TravelAZ #BayAreaDayTrips 🌵📸✨
