Phoenix/Sedona Food Diary 🍽️

A subjective record of some highly-rated restaurants I tried in Arizona 📍Sedona French Restaurant Rene at Tlaquepaque ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 90/ 🐌 Escargot: Only a small amount of snails, a bit oily, just okay 🍴 Foie Gras: Delicious! Perfect for two—gets greasy if eaten alone 🥩 Porterhouse + Boursin Potatoes: Pretty good 🐟 Chilean Sea Bass: Super tasty! Light flavor, tender scallops, no fishy smell 💯 🍖 Braised Short Ribs: Sweet BBQ style, average 🍰 Tiramisu: A bit too sweet Mexican Restaurant Elote Cafe ⭐️⭐️ 50/ 📞 Couldn’t get through by phone—walked in for takeout, so per-person cost doesn’t include tip 🌽 Elote: Signature corn—so good! 🍲 Sweet Corn Bisque: Tasty but portion was tiny—a bowl isn’t enough for one person 🐑 Lamb Adobo: Too salty, only meat near the bone was tender, the rest was tough ❌ 📍Phoenix Thai Restaurant Lom Wong ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 50/ 🍗 Gai Tawt Won Pen: Fried wings—pretty good 🦀 Boo Pad Pong Garee: Super delicious! Similar to Chinese-style cooking—crab was super fresh. A bit salty so best with rice 💯 🐂 Kaeng Phet Charinda: Beef curry was too spicy—just okay Mexican Seafood Mariscos Playa Hermosa ⭐️⭐️ 38/ 🌮 Everyone gets a free ceviche taco: Average 🦐 La Grandiosa: Chilled seafood platter—grilled shrimp was okay, but oysters were ruined by forced Mexican hot sauce. Not recommended ❌ 🐙 El Pulpazo: Octopus dish—decent #Sedona #FoodDiary
