🏜️ Sedona 4D3N Trip | Desert Getaway for the Chill Traveler 😴

We flew from Seattle to Phoenix… Seattle winters are too gloomy—needed some AZ sun to dry out! ☀️ 🏨 Hotel: Stayed at Amara Resort – highly recommend! Book with Amex for 2+ nights and get a $100 credit for breakfast or spa. 💳 Itinerary: Day 1 ✈️ Arrived in Phoenix Picked up rental car → drove to Sedona (≈2.5 hrs) 📍 Chapel of the Holy Cross Small chapel, takes about 15 mins. Don’t worry about parking—it moves fast. 📍 Bell Rock Trail Kid-friendly hike with clear signs, but climbing to the top is risky! Many people slide down on their butts 😬 📍 Cowboy Club Ate bison—chewy and delicious! Very American vibe. 🐂 Day 2 Woke up late—left at 11 am 😴 📍 Subway Cave (use Boynton Canyon Trailhead) Unofficial trail, takes ≈3 hours. Requires scrambling—no guardrails! 📍 Blue McDonald’s 2380 W State Rte 89A – must see! 💙 📍 Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante (book 1 day ahead) Not too expensive for “fine dining.” Skip the seafood pasta—get the lamb chop with herb sauce! Tiramisu is a must. 🍝🐑 Day 3 Slept in again… out by 10 am 🌞 📍 Devil’s Bridge Official trail—parking is limited. Hike takes ≈3 hours. At the fork, choose: Right = shorter but harder (rocky) Left = longer but smoother We took right going, left returning. 📍 Elote Cafe Walked in at 5:10 pm—got a table! Loved the duck and lamb. Appetizer corn cake and ice cream dessert were delicious! 🌽🍦 Day 4 Drove back to Phoenix 🚗 🐾 Sedona is super pet-friendly! Bring your dog! 🐶 #SedonaEats #SedonaTravel #Sedona #SedonaHotels #TravelArizona 🌵📸
