🚗✈️ Self-Drive Trip|Flying Over Charlotte – The Ultimate Experience!
Charlotte gave us two intense days of scorching heat and thunderstorms 🌦️🔥. Between park strolls, city views, and great food, we capped off the trip with a flight tour for a breathtaking aerial perspective ✈️📸 – absolutely insta-worthy and an unforgettable highlight! New way to travel: Fly a plane over the city 🏙️👩✈️ 📍 Calvary Church 📍 Freedom Park 📍 Uptown Food spots: 📍 Stoke – Modern American cuisine 🍽️ 📍 Miro Spanish Grille 🇪🇸 📍 Malaya Kitchen – Hainanese Chicken 🐓🍚 Fun fact: North Carolina’s license plate says “First in Flight” ✨ to commemorate the Wright Brothers’ first successful powered flight in 1903! We were incredibly lucky with this flight experience: perfect weather (sunny right after the rain 🌦️➡️☀️), perfect timing (got scheduled right away!), and my “pilot” did an amazing job (smooth takeoff, flight, and landing – even the coach said “Marvelous!” 🎉👏). The coach mentioned that some of the planes are regularly used by a soccer team and a NASCAR team 🏎️⚽, and they’re maintained here. 📍 Concord-Padgett Regional Airport Want to try it? Look for aircraft rentals at nearby general aviation airports. No flying experience? No worries! You can book with an instructor who’ll handle everything – just sit back and enjoy the views! 😍🛩️ #StudyAbroadTravel #UrbanPhotography #USRoadTrip #RoundTheUS #NorthCarolina #Charlotte #CLTTravel #FlyInUSA #ScenicFlight
