🍽️ The Capital Grille Private Dining Experience

Our family of seven recently visited The Capital Grille in Burlington and booked their Private Dining Room for a special gathering. The space was quiet, intimate, and beautifully set – and the service team was exceptionally attentive, polite, and professional. An absolutely perfect experience 💯❤️ We didn’t get to snap too many photos, but here’s what we ordered 👇 🍞 Complimentary Bread Basket A lovely variety of warm breads – I especially loved the dark one with berries or raisins, lightly sweet and delicious 😋 🦞 Starters Pan-Fried Calamari – Incredibly fragrant and crispy! We ordered two servings – the batter was light and crunchy with a hint of spicy pepper 🌶️ Lobster Bisque – Looked rich and creamy (I didn’t try it but it looked great 😜) Spinach Salad – Also looked fresh (skipped this one 😜) 🥩 Main Courses – Everyone Ordered Something Different Porcini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye – Their signature steak! Rubbed with porcini powder and served with aged balsamic – huge portion and full of flavor 🍄 Dry Aged NY Strip Au Poivre – Peppery crust with that nutty dry-aged taste – perfect for stronger flavor lovers! Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails – My order! The lobster and steak were so tender they melted in the mouth. In my opinion, this was the best dish – unbeatable texture 🤤 Other mains were also excellent: Citrus-Glazed Salmon Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Miso Butter Roasted Chicken Breast Lamb Rib Chops 🍽️ Sides We ordered roasted asparagus, sautéed mushrooms, Brussels sprouts with bacon, creamy corn with bacon, and sautéed spinach – every single one was delicious, no misses! 🍰 Dessert – The Sweet Surprise! At the end, we asked to see the dessert menu… and waited a while. Just as I was wondering what was taking so long, the staff brought out a huge platter of desserts – all complimentary! 😱 We’d mentioned earlier that we were just there for a family meal, no special occasion – yet they treated us like VIPs! The cheesecake, crème brûlée, coconut cream pie, and chocolate cake were all very sweet – classic American-style desserts 🍫🤍 🍷 Drinks Hot tea, iced tea, cocktails, wine, whiskey – we tried a bit of everything. My favorite was the strawberry-lemon mocktail – so refreshing! ✨ Overall The private dining experience here is ideal for group celebrations. The service went above and beyond, and the food was consistently excellent.
